Have you ever heard anyone say, “it’s so real it looks fake?”
That’s how I felt about the Columbia Gorge backdrop in these photos. Out of this world beautiful. Too pretty to be real, must be fake. But that’s just the Pacific Northwest.
We live about 4 hours apart from each other – so we separately drove two hours one way, met in the middle, at a couple parks none of us had ever been to and the rest was straight magic.
One of the BEST parts of this job is adventuring to brand new locations. We keep a map up in our living room of the Pacific Northwest and the United States – and I get so excited to go home and put new pins in new places.
We put a WHOLE lot more new pins in for 2020 as people got more adventurous… I am loving that the trend moving into 2021 is much of the same – new adventures to new locations with new (and some returning) couples. Theres a big world to discover and we are already covering four NEW states for next year. There’s going to be a lot of road tripping (until its super safe to fly without quarantines that is).
