This is the dream.
At least for us.
These guys have been around our lives for ages – but as photographers, they’ve been part of the family since back in 2016 when they were just two kids getting married. Following their little family story has been such a treat. More than any family I know – these guys are about the adventure – raising curious little minds and nurturing the love for exploring every step of the way. On multiple photo shoots, little Owen has schooled me on the nature and value of the grossest bugs and Anna, soon to be big sister, follows in his footsteps, unafraid of what the world has to offer.
(pretty sure I’ll be calling these kids to rescue me from the spider that lives above my front door)
What a treat it was to have the Battersby’s join us for a Leavenworth adventure session. I can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate another baby on the way then to explore together as a family.
Also, can we talk about what a champ Kate is? Ultra preggo, small business entrepreneur, two munchkins, a beast dog AND a puppy. Sam is an AMAZING dad – but dang, Kate… you’re a queen.
