Sometimes I make deals with the kids I work with.
“If you accomplish this goal, I’ll get you a new journal to write in…”
“If you make it a month without getting in trouble, your parents will take you on a special date…”
But this deal was rather unique. A student told me that if they accomplished their specific goal – that I had to go try out Patty’s Burgers in Tacoma.
