I live for a golden hour backyard wedding. Really, I do. I think they are beautiful and intimate. This wedding was no exception. And of course, the sunshine was welcome warmth in comparison to the frigid temperatures of their engagement session!
I’ve known these guys for quite some time. Wish I could do a little digging to see if I could find the bride and some of the guests/bridal party from back in about seventh grade. Speaking of which, being surrounded by loved ones you’ve had as best friends for nearly all your life? That’s a pretty great recipe. And they shared this day with their crazy adorable son, who is totally Sam’s mini-me.
This wedding had so many fun details! I don’t know about you, but all cakes should look like birch trees and should be cut with an axe. Especially when the groom gifted axes to his groomsmen. 🙂
