I’ve been thinking a lot about vow renewals lately [this is not a vow renewal post] but I’ve just been thinking about what it means to say “I do” after having lived life a little. So often, we are seeing people just starting out their adult lives + embarking on the adventure together. I just think there is something special to bring two people together who’ve got their own full time careers, are in the full swing of a house purchase and are finding rest in the midst of crazy adulthood [it’s not what we though when we were kids, right?]

I loved shooting this session so much. These two live full fast paced lives [I get to work with Luke during the school year] and it was so refreshing to be able to offer a space and a moment of retreat from all that goes on in life – to take some moments in time where they found rest in embracing.

Can’t wait for the wedding! Less than a month to go!
